Hola! Thanks for coming over and reading a little bit about who I am. My name is Astrid and I am a 31 year old trying to figure out who I am and where I should be heading. I was born in Mexico City and have lived in Canada since I was 9 years old.

I lived in London, Ontario for 10 years where I learned English, built long lasting friendships and confirmed that I do not enjoy the small city living. I moved to Toronto, Ontario to start my post-secondary journey and it's here that I learned that procrastination runs in my blood, you can survive on less than 4hrs of sleep, and that the metropolitan life is the way to go.

Now that I'm a graduate I'm trying my best to build a career. It's not always easy but I give it my best. My unknown career journey has led me to try and discover my passion wherever I can. At the moment, it has taken me on a once in a life time journey to Tokyo, Japan. 

I arrived in Tokyo in August 2019 and work at a private school as an Assistant Language Teacher. I am very happy to be teaching my students but also love exploring Japan and all it has to offer.
